Over the last 11 years, we have worked across a variety of projects with a number of airports. We understand that there are many moving parts within an airport, and that is why we believe that custom digital engagement tools are the best way to communicate changes, updates, and other information to key stakeholders. Whether for media releases, stakeholder communication, training or planning and internal decision-making we have various solutions to enhance airports.
Melbourne Airport We’re proud to be a long-term partner of Melbourne Airport supporting them with a range of visualisations and digital engagement tools.
In 2025 we revamped their online look and feel for project engagement with the launch of the Major Projects Hub.
One of the projects featured is the Noise Sharing Plan which includes detailed custom web tools to explain proposed and current modes as well as 3D visualisation explainers. Often unknown to everyday passengers is the process behind choosing a runway path. We’ve brought to life clear and engaging explainer videos that illustrate the process behind runway mode selection, the different operating modes at Melbourne Airport, and how often each mode is used. These videos are featured on the Major Projects Hub powered by SpatialEngage and form a key part of the Noise Sharing Plan engagement and communication strategy. When accurate information is paired with compelling visuals, it creates a more engaging experience for the viewers.
Moree Airport
Moree Shire was seeking a digital way to support the design and planning of airport growth. Utilising our Spatial Reality software, we were able to facilitate interactive workshops with the client to support and assist with concept design, development, and review. The outcome from the workshops was the ability for the council to make decisions on options and also create content for stakeholders including capturing images and videos. We added a 3D layer of the OLS and also created a flight path and taxi animation of the Qantas Q300 and Q400 aircraft.

Sydney Airport
Sydney Airport needed a 3D animation video that visually communicates the upcoming changes to Domestic Terminal 2 to create a smoother travel experience for passengers. The video we created showcases the new technology and upgraded facilities that are expected to roll out in the coming years, including self-service kiosks, and new security scanners that greatly reduce security processing times.
In addition to this, we also created a 3D animation video for Sydney Airport’s 2045 Masterplan expansion; the biggest expansion at their airport since the Sydney 2000 Olympics. The video shows the changes and developments that are set to roll out over the next 20 years. With an expected 72.6 million passengers annually by the year 2045, Sydney Airport wanted to communicate to different stakeholders how the upcoming changes and upgrades will affect their travel journey. Viewers won’t have to try to imagine what these new changes will look like for them, as we have created a way for Sydney Airport to accurately communicate these updates in an engaging way.
Brisbane Airport
We are delighted to enjoy a longstanding partnership innovating and delivering new tools for Brisbane Airport, including a video to showcase their Domestic Terminal upgrade project. This video is shown throughout Brisbane Domestic Airport, as well as across their various social channels and website. The challenge for this project was to demonstrate to stakeholders the different ways in which the $5+ billion investment was being distributed across the airport in a way that was visually appealing and engaging to viewers. The video shows a variety of 3D rendered environments created by our team, including a birds-eye view of the airport, passengers walking through the terminal, new construction plans, and more.
Additionally, we’ve worked on a variety of other projects with Brisbane Airport; including an Airside Simulator that is used in training, and several web portals that allows the public to view upcoming project works and benefits, and one that demonstrates how Brisbane Airport are taking steps towards a greener, more sustainable future. We’ve also created a realistic 3D model of the Airport City, allowing internal teams and commercial stakeholders to explore in and around the airport.
We love working across different sectors, and the aviation travel sector is no exception. Like what you see? Find out more about how we can create a custom digital solution for you, no matter what industry you’re in. Email contact@spatialmedia.io for more information.
