Collaborate with Star of the South project to build a digital web tool to engage communities, industry and stakeholders and promote understanding of the impact and opportunities.
The community engagement element of the project is critical for education and information sharing, raising awareness and garnering community support for the project development.
Spatial Media collaborated with the client to deliver a custom interactive engagement portal that includes a virtual tour demonstrating the key components and benefits of the project as well as rendered videos from different viewpoints along the coast, a series of explainer videos including how the turbines are proposed to be installed offshore and a 360 experience of standing on top of a turbine. Spatial Media produced all the videos, modelling and imagery and have developed a full interactive 3D model of the project area including lighting and boating experience that is available in a Kiosk onsite in the project’s local office and information centre.
