MTIA approached Spatial Media to create an interactive map tour that tells the story of the bigger picture of projects across Victoria. I
Instead of focussing on a single project – what are the benefits to places based on the combination of projects being delivered.
Our approach was to start with a creative workshop to explore concepts and ideas that created an interactive 3d style experience. Once we settled on the concept and style we then developed a custom animated 3D map of Melbournes West. It was important to capture key aspects of this part of Melbourne such as the airport, weribee Zoo, Williamstown, Sunshine and more.
The interactive map includes a narrative that can be explored via a tour or free explore. Each map hotspot/area of interest is clickable and zooms the map to that key area and provides additional information with links to explore more about the projects.
