Newmont Cadia were seeking to create an immersive experience for stakeholders internal and external to view the mining operations in context, had a lot of information share and wanted to also open up dialogue and enable public users to provide feedback.
To broaden the community understanding of operations and locations of different mining activities and infrastructure Spatial Media created an interactive map that has toggleable layers including air quality monitoring, surface water quality monitoring and noise monitoring data.
The interactive map is housed within a customised portal website built on Spatial Media’s SpatialEngage platform that enables the team to update content, upload new version of resources and display extensive information to a broad audience.
