Spatial Media collaborated closely with the NSW Reconstruction Authority, NSW SES, and local councils to produce a series of videos aimed at raising community awareness about floods and improving preparedness.

The final product combines real flood data with precise 3D terrain models, delivering accurate and visually compelling representations of potential flood scenarios.

Across five videos and interactive sliders, viewers can explore their surroundings in detail, gaining a deeper understanding of how floods might affect their local area and what steps they can take to stay safe. By visualising different flood scenarios, the project helps communities recognise risks, plan ahead, and respond effectively in emergencies. Floods impact people in different ways depending on location, infrastructure, and timing, making itessential for everyone to be informed and prepared for a variety of situations.
