With in-person tours limited by safety regulations, Visy needed an engaging, and accessible solution to connect with schools, councils, and communities. The real life MRF has lots of moving parts (literally) and yet we needed to make it simple to follow with an appreciation of the complexity.
We worked closely with the Visy Recycling team to create an interactive web experience guiding users through a typical Material Recovery Facility (MRF). The customised 3D web tool shows users how materials are recovered, and helps them learn more about what should and shouldn't go in their recycling bins showing the complexities of the process in a clear concise way was key to the success of this project.
