our solution for

Sydney Metro West Virtual EIS

Australia's biggest public transport project, transforming Sydney with a world-class metro.

The challenge

Following the success if the interactive engagement portal for the project, a supplemental virtual community consultation session was requested for the Sydney Metro West Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).

Our solution

In response Spatial Media created an absolutely unique virtual engagement space inside the tunnels of the project, a space the general public would not have the opportunity to see! Within the consultation period the community had the opportunity to review digital copies of the EIS, view 3D visualisations of the design, lean how tunnel boring machines work, explore the project map and have their say by completing an offical submission to the The Department of Planning, Industry and Environment.

from our clients

They were committed to accuracy and no ask was too hard

Spatial Media understood our brief to a tee and delivered a high quality animation and renders to bring our project to life for the community. Despite a short timeframe, we were given multiple opportunities to provide feedback and suggest changes, all of which were easily understood and promptly actioned. Isaac and the team were flexible, responsive and hit every deadline. They were committed to accuracy and no ask was too hard. The end product will be a centrepiece for communicating our project to the public.
